OXFORD CITY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

FROM THE DREAMING SPIRES TO THE RIVER BANKS.

MORE THAN JUST SPIRES

Getting married in the city centre offers a rhythm you don't get at a countryside barn. It is the contrast of the ancient and the alive.

As an Oxford wedding photographer, I know this city intimately. From the grand, honey-coloured stone of the Bodleian Library to the intimate corners of a College quad, I know where the light hits best and which quiet backstreets let us escape the tourists.

THE SIGNATURE OXFORD ROUTE

THE CEREMONY

It often starts at the Oxford Town Hall or a central Registry Office. Grand architecture, high ceilings, and the hustle of St Aldates right outside the door.

THE RIVER CRUISE

This is where the tie loosens. A short walk to Folly Bridge for a boat cruise on the Thames. I capture the candid laughter and the city skyline drifting away.

THE DESTINATION

Arriving by boat at The Isis Farmhouse or The Perch at Binsey. The vibe shifts from city chic to riverside rustic. Fire pits, meadow grasses, and a party that lasts into the night.

THE PHOTOGRAPHY

This journey gives us incredible variety. We get the architectural drama of the city and the relaxed, natural candidness of the river. It’s the best of both worlds.

OXFORD UNIVERSITY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Beyond the river, I specialise in weddings at Oxford's most historic venues. Whether it's the grandeur of the Bodleian Library or the privacy of an Oxford College Chapel, I understand the protocols and the unique lighting challenges of these ancient buildings.
