WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY, SELECTED DATES
Story-led wedding films for couples who want the day to feel real, not staged.
Based in Oxford, I still take on a limited number of wedding film commissions each year across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds, London and selected weddings further afield.
Photography is now the main focus of the business, so film is offered more selectively and only when the fit feels right.
DOCUMENTARY WEDDING FILMS, FILMED WITH CARE
I film weddings with a calm, documentary approach built around real moments, clean audio and natural pace. The aim is not to turn the day into a production. It is to create a wedding film that feels personal, emotionally grounded and true to how the day actually unfolded.
The strongest films are not built from endless staging or trend-led edits. They are built from atmosphere, timing, honest reactions and words that matter. That is still the approach here.
FILM IS NOW OFFERED MORE SELECTIVELY
Wedding films are still available, but for a limited number of dates each year. Photography is now the main focus of the business, so I only take on film commissions where the pace, expectations and overall fit feel right.
If you are looking for a calm, story-led film and do not want the day to feel over-managed, this can still be a very good fit.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE
Most couples keep things simple.
- Story-led highlight film
- Clean ceremony audio
- Full speeches film, if wanted
- Natural documentary coverage across the day
Everything is quoted individually depending on the shape of the wedding and what you want to keep from the day.
HOW I WORK ON THE DAY
The approach stays low profile. I work quietly, move lightly and avoid turning natural parts of the day into repeated set-ups. Most of the coverage is observational, with direction kept to a minimum unless you want a little more input.
That balance matters. You still get a film that feels polished and intentional, but it does not come at the cost of the day itself.
SOUND COMES FIRST
Good audio matters more than flashy editing. Vows, speeches and small fragments of real sound are what make a wedding film feel personal over time. That is why audio is treated as a core part of the storytelling, not an afterthought.
WHERE I STILL FILM
Most film commissions now come from Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and London, with selected weddings further afield. Oxford is home base, so the work naturally leans toward weddings within reach of that core area.
OXFORDSHIRE
Country houses, barns, private estates, Oxford colleges and village churches all suit a documentary approach that lets the day breathe.
THE COTSWOLDS
The Cotswolds works well for relaxed, story-led films where atmosphere, setting and people all have room to speak for themselves.
LONDON
London weddings bring a different pace, but the same approach applies. Calm coverage, careful audio and a film that still feels personal rather than over-produced.
IS THIS A GOOD FIT?
This is usually the right fit if you want the day to feel like a wedding, not a shoot, and you care more about story, sound and atmosphere than trend-led editing.
It is probably not the right fit if you want heavy staging, lots of repeated set-ups or a film built around constant direction.
WATCH REAL WEDDINGS
Watch a few real wedding films, then explore the locations and full stories behind them.
