BERKSHIRE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

EDITORIAL. UNSCRIPTED. TIMELESS.

From the manicured grounds of Ascot to the historic halls of Windsor. I provide documentary wedding photography that captures the elegance of Berkshire without the endless posing. No shot lists. No awkward smiling. Just the genuine narrative of your day, captured with an editorial eye.

LUXURY IS QUIET

The best wedding photos aren't the ones where you are looking at the camera. They are the ones where you are looking at each other, or laughing with your friends, completely unaware that I am there.

The Problem: Traditional wedding photography in Berkshire often feels like a photoshoot that happens to be at a wedding. You spend hours away from your guests, ticking off a list of formal groups, and by the time you get to the champagne, you're exhausted.

My Approach: I believe you should actually attend your own wedding. I shoot 90% unposed documentary. I blend into the crowd at Hedsor House, looking for the small, fleeting interactions that define the atmosphere of the day. The result is a gallery that feels like a magazine spread, not a school photo session.

DOCUMENTARY SOUL. EDITORIAL POLISH.

My style is often described as "Editorial Documentary." But what does that actually mean?

Documentary (The 90%)

I don't move things. I don't ask you to "do that again." If it rains, we embrace the rain. If the veil blows in the wind, I capture the movement. I am there to observe the story, not to write it.

Editorial (The 10%)

For your couple portraits, I don't leave you hanging. I use my knowledge of light and composition to give you gentle, minimal direction. We take 15 minutes—not 90—to create some stunning, high-impact portraits that look like frames from a movie, then I get you straight back to the party.

THE BERKSHIRE EDIT

I am a regular at the county's most prestigious venues. I know the light, the layout, and the best hidden spots for portraits.

THE GRAND ESTATES

Cliveden House and Hedsor House.

These venues demand a photographer who understands scale. I use the grand architecture to frame your story, contrasting the vastness of the building with the intimacy of your connection. I know how to handle the challenging mixed lighting in the main halls and how to use the sunset on the terrace to perfection.

COUNTRY ELEGANCE

Coworth Park and Wasing Park

The vibe here is softer, organic, and romantic. I strip back the gear and shoot with natural light, using the textures of the meadow or the walled gardens to create images that feel warm and timeless.

RIVERSIDE & HISTORIC

Oakley Court and Lillibrooke Manor.

Whether it's the gothic drama of Oakley or the rustic charm of Lillibrooke, I adapt my editing style to suit the venue. My editing is "true to life" but with a cinematic punch—blacks are deep, whites are crisp, and skin tones are always natural.

LOCATIONS COVERED

From the banks of the Thames to the Chiltern Hills.

ALSO NEED THE FILM?

Why hire two separate teams who might get in each other's way? I offer seamless Hybrid Photo & Video coverage for Berkshire weddings.

One creative vision. One team. A consistent aesthetic across both your album and your film.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Q: Do you take formal group photos? A: Yes, but we keep it efficient. I recommend a list of 6-8 key group shots that we can complete in 15 minutes. This keeps the parents happy without killing the vibe of the drinks reception.

Q: Do you travel for free? A: Yes. For all weddings within Berkshire (including Windsor, Reading, Maidenhead, and Newbury), there are no travel fees.

Q: How many photos do we get? A: For a full day, you typically receive 500+ fully edited, high-resolution images. Every single image is graded by me personally—I never outsource my editing.

LET'S TALK

I take on a limited number of weddings per year to ensure every couple gets my full focus. If you are planning a wedding in Berkshire and want photography that feels real, I'd love to hear from you.
