Tipi tents, sun-drenched gardens, and a festival soul. This is how Stef & Joe did Cornwall.

A CELEBRATION OF COLOUR
If you are going to get married in Cornwall, do it like this.
Pencarrow House is known for its Georgian elegance, but Stef and Joe turned it into a playground of colour and energy. This wasn't a wedding about protocols and posing; it was a celebration of friendship, music, and the wild freedom of the Cornish countryside.
From the morning prep laughter to the barefoot dancing under the stars, the day felt less like a formal event and more like the best festival headline slot you’ve ever seen.
CAPTURING THE UNSCRIPTED
There is a specific energy to a festival wedding—the sound of the live band, the movement of the fabric in the wind, and the roar of laughter during the speeches.
As their Cornwall wedding photographer, my goal was to bottle that atmosphere. I didn't want to create a stiff, formal gallery; I wanted to create a time capsule.
Instead of stopping the fun to stage moments, I focused on the rhythm of the day. The result is a collection of images that don't just show you what the wedding looked like, but what it felt like.
"Peter’s photos captured the soul of the day. It’s not just a gallery; it’s a feeling we get to keep forever."
A NOTE ON PENCARROW HOUSE
Pencarrow House is a dream for visual storytelling. The sweeping driveways and sunken gardens offer a cinematic backdrop that is rare to find.
While I captured Stef and Joe’s day purely through photography, this venue is also perfect for motion. If you are looking for a Cornwall wedding videographer to work alongside your photography package, the light here is unmatched for cinematic film.
A FESTIVAL STATE OF MIND
This wedding was the perfect example of my Festival Wedding Photography style. It’s for couples who care more about the party than the protocols.
If you are planning a relaxed, outdoor-focused celebration, let the environment do the talking and let the guests do the rest.
