North Oxfordshire to The Cotswolds

A journey across the border. Two counties, one seamless story. This wedding was a masterclass in logistics and location. It began in the rolling hills of North Oxfordshire, specifically the market town of Chipping Norton, before traveling just over the county line to the grandeur of Moreton-in-Marsh.

For us, it was the perfect opportunity to showcase the diversity of the region. We moved from the intimate, sacred atmosphere of a historic Oxfordshire church to the expansive, editorial luxury of a premier Cotswold manor.

Part 1: Holy Trinity Church, Chipping Norton

North Oxfordshire has a distinct architectural character, and Holy Trinity Church is one of its finest examples. Tucked away on the London Road, this Grade II listed building offers a rare, neoclassic backdrop that feels completely different from the typical village parish.

We love filming here because the light in Chipping Norton always seems to hit differently. The stone is warmer, the streets are livelier, and the energy is palpable. Capturing the arrival here allowed us to document the anticipation in a setting that feels deeply rooted in Oxfordshire history.

Part 2: The Manor House Hotel, Moreton-in-Marsh

After the confetti settled in Oxfordshire, the party moved west to The Manor House Hotel in Moreton-in-Marsh.

This venue is the definition of "Cotswold Luxury." With its walled gardens and 16th-century architecture, it provides a stunning contrast to the church setting. The reception here wasn't just a party; it was an event. We utilized the venue's famous mulberry tree and honey-coloured walls to create portraits that feel timeless and cinematic.

Moving from a town-centre church to a secluded manor house gave this film a dynamic pace—blending the hustle of the market town with the exclusivity of a private estate.
